A CACOPHONY OF COLOR
Near Ridgway, Colorado
I didn't find this place. There was a gentleman stopped along side of Last Dollar Road and I pulled over to see what he was shooting. What I saw was so stunningly beautiful and full of color that was so remiss in the surrounding area. We didn't speak, but stood taking in the magic moment and listening to night fall. I didn't stay, but touched his arm as I left, whispering how peaceful it was and that I would leave him to it. He only nodded.
I came back the next evening and was alone there, at least for a while.
