**So honored to have been included among the winners of the Cowboys and Indians Magazine 2020 photo contest "Wild America" with this photo from Ashcroft, Colorado. Check out the February/March 2020 issue
For years I hadn't bothered to photograph this historic, now abandoned town at the end of the Castle Creek valley, but this year amid all of the snow, rain, clouds and sunshine, the ghost town's buildings and surrounding fields seemed full of mystery.
