MEADOW WALK
From a walk through a meadow on Owl Creek Pass, near Telluride, Colorado. You'll never know what you'll see in a walk through the woods. There was a doe and fawn grazing to my right, evening sunlight brushing the fall grasses and brightening the aspen trunks, a golden leaf dotted path to walk and darkening shadows. Sounds idyllic, doesn't it?
To my left, a lifted Ram truck barreled down the gravel road. The deer didn't even lift their heads and continued to graze as they continued their walk through the trees into the shadows.
