PEAKS OF CASTLE CREEK VALLEY
I fell in love with these mountains. I don't think there is a mountain range that I don't love. Here the face of Greg Mace Peak shines in the broken, afternoon sun. I prefer creating photos of mountains in black and white. It shows their majesty and profound ruggedness so much more. This was taken in fall near Ashcroft, Colorado, in a field right across the road from Pine Creek Cookhouse. If you have the chance stop in for a bite to eat, you won't be disappointed.
