SPOTLIGHT
Near Crested Butte, Colorado
It is without a doubt that the area around Crested Butte, Colorado has some of the most spectacular aspen forests in all of Colorado.
I kept coming back to this same stand of trees night after night, just as the sun went behind the last ridge of mountains. The bit of light that was filtered through ongoing wildfire smoke and dust spotlighted the aspen trunks of this fall forest with a warm glow.
